News form Hebei Iron & Steel Group（HBIR）, Hebei province would attach great importance to the problem of PM 2.5 particles and promote restructuring of iron &steel enterprises in the province this year. Iron &steel production capacity would be reduced by 1/3 after this adjustment.
HBIR said this adjustment involved small and medium-sized steel mills. It was not clear how it would affect giant mills such as HBIR at present.
HBIR forecasted its net profit would fell by 70%-90% year-on-year due to serious oversupply in the steel market currently.
