National Statistics Bureau disclosed that in 1H 2013, GDP grew by 7.6% compared to 1H 2012. The per capita disposable income of urban residents and CPI increased by 6.5% and 2.4% respectively compared to corresponding period last year.
Economy runs smoothly, structural adjustment progresses steadily, transition and upgrading improves quality, which are distinctive features in 1H 2013. Despite of complex international and domestic situation, there were five bright spots in economy.
1. Economy maintains steady growth. 2. Employment situation is steady despite economic growth slowdown. 3. The price level stabilizes. 4. The income of urban and suburban residents rises steady. 5. The quality of transition and upgrade improves.
