The United States International Trade Commission hereby gives notice of the institution of investigations and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping investigation on imports from Russia and Venezuela ofFerrosilicon, provided for in subheadings 7202.21.10, 7202.21.50, 7202.21.75, 7202.21.90, and 7202.29.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.
The Commission must reach a preliminary determination in antidumping investigations in 45 days, or in this case by September 3, 2013. The Commission's views are due at Commerce within five business days thereafter, or by September 10, 2013.
These investigations are being instituted in response to a petition filed on July 19, 2013, by Globe Specialty Metals, Inc. (“GSM”), New York, NY; CC Metals and Alloys, LLC (“CCMA”), Calvert City, KY; the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union (“USW”); and the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (“UAW”).
